> Bike Update!

Until yesterday (29th May) the bike was working perfectly, thanks mainly to ABE and HM Racing. I was getting great economy and good power and it was handling perfectly, laden and otherwise... Then I had an engine problem which has forced me to be immobile for a bit. Essentially an exhaust valve seat failed, but the piston appears OK.

Sorry to AquaPac - your tank stickers (and some others besides, as well as some paint) were stripped by the same sandstorm that thoroughly exfoliated my face and neck, but your products saved my laptop and phone from certain death - I even got some snaps with the camera in the storm, despite barely being able to stand for the thrashing wind & sand!

Leaving for Marseille - Dad had my other tyre. :-D

Hopefully this is one button I will never use!

Jean-Luc. Luckily he speaks Arabic.

For luck & something for kids to try and steal.

Problem 1 - a float bowl leak, fixed with epoxy.

FilterSkinz work really well in sandstorms.

This is when the head was off in the campsite.
